Quick Gun Murugan - Top of the list since it is hardly a few hours since I watched it....very interesting script for a mindless comedy genre..& Rajendra Prasad (whose movies I religiously avoid) managed to keep it ultimately hilarious while mouthing utterly ridiculous lines with utmost sincerity... For starters - "The earth is my bed, the sky is my ceiling and the whole creation is my native place"......
Nasser is in vintage form while the "anni" character had me in splits with the "i will not add more chillies" dialogue. Just watch it I say! This one is for the hard core movie buffs ...MIND IT!
Magadheera - Entirely a Ram Charan movie....keeps you glued to the screen with all his true-to-life action stunts....the guy has put his heart n soul into the two characters he plays ..but the clear winner is the historic Harsha that wins you over...amazing body language, powerful screen presence and a great physique that does justice to the brave and chivalrous warrior that he portrays. The dheera dheera song has been picturised to well - choreographed carefully so as to blend with the historic era while the lead pair's chemistry ensures that there is enough romance in this high-action flick. Guess it is rather superfluous to mention Ram's dance in "Bangaaru kodi petta" - clearly hes been working hard to match his dad's skills....(though IMHO, Allu Arjun seems to be much more of a "natural" dancer) ... verdict - MUST WATCH! :)
Kandasamy - Last weekend's DISASTER to put it mildly...Ramba's vamp act in QGM is a zillion times more classier than Shriya's Subba character in this ultimate stomach churner. There is really nothing to write about this crap except that I wish the reviews (Sify/Rediff) had been a litte conscientious! :| Dandasamy.....
