The Coke ad is sssssssssssssssssssssso uggggggggggggggh disgusting to say the least...I still belong to the good old generation (old being the operative word) where burping is considered rather unbecoming. But the ad-makers dont seem to have any such notions; on the contrary they come up with this highly distasteful concept of featuring their trademark icons (that would be the A khan & chiyan) in an atrocious burping spree.
The Hindi version is atleast bearable thanks to the inimitable khan, unlike his horrifying counterpart from down under... the concept could have atleast been revised to suit our chiyan better....
On the other hand, the Palio ad is just my liking... we see this dude driving his brand new car beside a train, in which sits his jaaneman. He rattles off in true Bollywood style - "meri sapnon ki rani kab aayegi tu.." (but of course!)...to which our heroine responds with a "i-cant-hear-u-thru-this-glass" gesture...so what does the cool guy do? he calls her mobile which starts playin the evergreen melody and keeps up the pace with the train....
Now, that's what i call CLASS!
