Of life,work & friends....

Gotto post the customary weekly blog, watch those extra calories while desserts are the order of the season, make sure the cells behave the way they are supposed to (in the lab), plan that much-awaited thanksgiving trip...man, life is hectic!

Hmm while on that subject, lets talk abt something that keeps me goin in top gear no matter what - friends! Felt like dedicating a blog to all my wonderful friends - right from childhood to undergrad/grad life, at work - bk in base camp & now here in lex...its been a long journey - meeting all kinds of people - a whole bunch of interesting personalities with a lot of charisma & individuality (for most part ;))

I've always had trouble finding people on the right *wavelength* - maybe coz of how rigid i've been in thots n actions, but surprisingly, (tx to some of my close associations) i've found myself becomin more open to ideas, try to see things from a different view point, explore all kinds of options before resigning to a 'default' backup...

How much ever childish/silly/mean/difficult i've gotten with them, my poor buddies have been most tolerant & humored me till my better senses surfaced and let me *behave* - tx guys for being there inspite of all my tantrums & not givin up on me altogether (this one's for the Wharton kid & Gold especially)

How can i forget the innumerable memories - be it just a long walk/drive/ride (all u buddies out there), a coffee date (hey ivan this one's for u), a completely brain dead fone conversation (cant keep track on this one), the long mail threads that run endlessly with no point being made (all u frosties & lexies out there), the silly giggles or peals of laughter as the SOH'ometer (Sense of humor meter) rises, or the times that i've been made to feel like a princess (dinner at the Signature lounge) - kaks it has to be you :)....

Amidst the above-described schedule, it becomes a rather tough task to keep in touch with one's buddies out there, let them know that you care & they are not being taken for granted...- so here i am bloggin to let u guys know how much it means to me & its just my plain lazy self that's causing all the lag...:))

Continuing on the lines of my prev blog (about making the most out of life), i guess life would be rather incomplete without friends - a cliched observation no doubt, but one that is unlikely to be disagreed upon. It does make a huge difference having people to do things with, talk to & care abt...."yehhhh dhosthi....hum nahi chodenge!" or shud i say "oru nanban irunthaal..."

I feel honored to be mentioned in your blog, though u didnt really have to do that.I am sure everybody already knows whatuve said..and i do agree that friends are family...atleast some of them! You are someone that accepts people for what they are, which is why people reciprocate that towards you.Or likewise!Whatever!(oops thats the name of your blogspot)
