Too long a gap...was wondering if i will get around to blogging ..ever!...so with a great effort (i mean it), heres my desperate effort to write...& since am out of touch, it is goin to be rather short...
scene 1, an overseas call: so there was this time when i asked manu (yes, my niece) as to how she plans to visit me if she dint have a passport yet...the little one pondered for while before answering "naaku passport lethu, aithe kooda ukg'lo unnanu" - i was laughing so much at her innocence....:))
scene 2 in SG: my cozin tells manu - "arent u having fun here? so many things to see, shopping, dolls, clothes...cable car...why don't you stay back here?" manu (without battling an eyelid)- " am happy in madras...why should i be here?!" - in my cozin's words - "vedam puthithu'la sathyaraj adi vaangara maathiri oru feeling!"
