Silence & the 1000 words....

Silence they say is equal to 1000 words...So I tried to maintain silence (dont laugh, i tried my best) & see if it was indeed true...
I didnt realize what i was in store for.

My niece (yeah the same brat that i mentioned earlier) thot i had lost the power of speech & tried to provoke me ....(& was certainly effective if i might add)

my mom was under the impression that i was hurt by her harsh words at my tamasic tendencies & tried to undo the 'damage' by preparing rice pudding

my dad assumed that i was having trouble managing my finances & offered to bail me out

my sis declared with an air of finality that i had become a snob & was ignoring her on purpose

my bil congragulated me (he dint have to tell me, his smile said it all) on having mastered the art of reticence...

my friends tried to get me psychological help fearing i was suffering from a severe case of depression.....

To cut the story short, the 1000 words that silence conveys, is left to others' imagination.....SIGH!
