Ennatha solvenungo?!

S took me to this "theme" underground restuarant resembling a rainforest the other day - his desperate ploy of steering clear of all his friends (the other world), lest they spot him & make life miserable....Our man with his oh-im-a-cool-dude walk & attitude & cute looks (sheesh i said it) is forever ready to make an impression - any time, any place...& this dinner date was no exception. So there we were in a spooky, intriguing place waitin to be seated & S wasted no time in spotting the staff (he is smart n purposeful i tell ya) & in his endearing "main-surya-banna-chahta-hoon" modulation said - "table for two" (laced with a hip accent for the added effect) ... The bearer gave us a once over & said "Two'VA??" in the most rustic accent ever....

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL..... "so much for all the hype" said our expressions as we struggled to keep a straight face, waited till the unsuspecting bearer was out of sight & then burst into a fit of giggles.....


I spotted a "dollar" store near Elliots & was overcome with curiousity as to what the $ sign was doing in this side of the globe.....so in i walked, peering suspiciously at the zillion items stacked all over the place - it all seemed normal till i noticed that they were not the popular brands but were names that bore an uncanny semblance to the former....hmm...in a rather contemplative mood i walked out and headed for the desi supermarket right across the road - established in 1905 it said...& there i saw them all - amongst our desi offerings were the products of hersheys, wrigleys, skippys........
